Had a good surf shoot on the south coast today. Seems to be a rare occurrence to get both coasts working so well with reports of good waves from Porthleven, Whitsands ,Porthtowan, and Connies to name a few.
For me after a bit of thought and a call from Olly Medland I decided to wonder to a reef spot I occasionally go to on the south west coast. The surf was around 4ft with maybe some slightly bigger sets, with a few barrels and ramps. A few stand outs where Medland, Shorty and Phil. Although a lot of people where surfing well.
From a photography point of view the sun was right behind the peak which made it slightly tricky to capture shots that weren’t too heavy in contrast. In the end I was happy with how they turned out.
