Had a good bodyboarding trip to the north coast of Cornwall yesterday. Travelled down with Bodyboarder Aaron Dinham to a Sheltered shore break called Spot M.
On arrival we where greeted but solid 4ft stormy waves accompanied with good sunny weather which was great for the photography. I felt slightly under the weather so opted to leave my water gear at home and photograph with my land set-up.
Although the session was good, it was far from it's best. A few factors like the cross shore winds and swell direction wasn't allowing the wave to break cleanly with alot of close-outs coming through, although the fact it had some size made up for it a litte.
A few stand out riders I saw from the session where Aaron Dinham, Matty Allen, Matt Bradley,Alex Allen, Jonny Meloy, Neil Adams, Eldred Hawke, Scott Richards, Sam Mumford, Ben Pascoe and Chris Bray just to name a few.
After a few hours Aaron called it a day and we started heading to the car where I bumped into Matty Allen how had just arrived. He offered to give me a lift home which allowed me to head back down the beach for a few more hours of shooting. Overall a fun session and looks like more swell through the week!
