Photographed a delightful wedding of Abi and Ben on the 10th of September at the stunning Carnglaze Caverns in Cornwall. The Caverns used to be an old slate mine which has now be converted to a underground venue for concerts and weddings. It really is a beautiful place with amazing underwater lakes, caves and gardens.

Took another trip to this beach and after walking down a very sketchy path we made it to the waters edge. The surf was 3-4ft and slightly weak looking and defiantly far from it’s best. Saying that, the waves where still good with a few riders busting airs and getting some tube riding. I really can’t wait to see what this place produces when all the factors come together.

This was the first time I have been up to Plymouth ski slope. I’ve known about it for a little while and of course see it from the motorway every time I drive out of Plymouth. So when my good friend Olly Mendland mentioned that himself and a few other friend where planning on heading up to the slope I was only to keen to join them and document the session.
It’s a dry ski slop, at maybe 100 meters in length and they have a range of range of different ramps and rails which the riders can pull out onto the slope to practise tricks and techniques. It was dark when the session started so thought it would be a good opportunity to try out some off camera flash technique’s. So set up my equipment by the biggest ramp out and started shooting away. Will defiantly like to take a trip here again and develop upon my first attempt. A few pictures from the shoot below.

Travelled to the South coast of Cornwall Sunday on a 140 mile round trip on the search for waves. I never mind these kind of trips, even if you don’t find anything good it’s a beautiful place to be, and quite often the journey can be a highlight in it’s self.
The first place we checked was a beach break renowned for it’s water colour and amazing cliffs, it is also offshore in North westerlies which was handy while we where waiting for the wind to swing around and lighten in strength for the main spots. It also had a really good bank producing some quality, hollow left handers at around 4ft+ on sets, so I swam out with the camera and spent a few hours shooting before the tide got to low for the bank. We then ventured to Porthleven, ate some Cornish pasties and got back in the sea to finish the day with waves at the pier and main reef. A great south-coast day. The quality run of swell continues.
